2021-2022 School Year Choir Audition Information
All auditions for the 2021-2022 school year will be virtual submissions.
All current Valhalla students are able to audition for the Honors Ensemble choirs.
Incoming students (current 8th graders) should sign up for Norsemen Choir (un-auditioned).

Audition Deadline: Friday, April 23rd @ 11:59pm.

Directions
1. Complete the 2021-2022 Honors Choir Audition Form
2. Record a video audition using one of the following tracks:
- If your preferred choir is Men's Ensemble, use this audition track.
- If your preferred choir is Chamber Ensemble, and you have a higher voice (soprano/alto; typically female voices), use this audition track. You will also need this sight-reading example during the audition.
- If your preferred choir is Chamber Ensemble and you have a lower voice (tenor/bass; typically male voices), use this audition track. You will also need this sight-reading example during the audition.
- If your preferred choir is Advanced Women's Ensemble, use this audition track. You will also need this sight-reading example during the audition.
- If your preferred choir is Intermediate Women's Ensemble, use this audition track.
- Share link to video on Google Drive, upload video to YouTube and share link, etc.
Guidelines for Video Submission
- Do a soundcheck to make sure your voice can be heard clearly in your final submission.
- Do a practice run of the audition before you submit, so you understand what is expected of you/understand the timing of the track.
- If your are auditioning for Chamber Ensemble or Advanced Women's Ensemble, make sure you have the sight-reading example open in a browser window (or printed out) before you begin.
- Complete your final video audition in one take (no editing together of multiple videos)
- Name the file of your submission in the following format: <Your name> Choir Audition Video.
- Ex: “Beyonce Knowles Choir Audition Video”
